A medela Rental Agreement must be signed before the release of any breastpump or baby scale rental.
You will receive a duplicate copy at the time of rental.
The following information will be outlined in your Rental Agreement:
Information including valid form of identification must be provided including your SS# and Driver’s License Number. A COPY OF YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE AND CREDIT CARD WILL BE KEPT ON FILE until your rental is returned. This information is used SOLELY for purposes of identification if for some reason there is no contact from the renter once the rentals are due. We will not sell, share, trade or give away any personal information that we receive in connection to your rental. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
DEPOSIT:A $200 hold for breastpumps / scale rentals will be required at time of rental which will be held until the rental is returned. The deposit will be forfeited if there is no contact from the renter for 45 days past the due date.
RETURN LOCATION:All rental equipment must be returned to
16 Stebbins Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310 by 5pm on the due date as noted on your rental agreement. Special arrangements may be accepted by calling 718-ten-toes (836-8637) FIVE DAYS BEFORE YOUR DUE DATE.
LATE FEES: If the rental is not returned by 7pm on the due date, a late fee will be applied that evening: breastpumps at $25 per week or scales at $30 per each week not returned. (NO daily fees applicable). The late fee will be deducted from your original credit card on file.
CLEANING FEES:It is imperative that you keep the rentals clean prior to returning the items for hygienic purposes. You may use an antibacterial wipe cloth over the scale or pump. (If you are returning a breastpump, please wipe down the box container as well). If the rentals are not cleaned, you will be charged a minimum of $10 as stated on the agreement.
REPAIR FEES:If there are any problems with the motor, we will gladly switch the pump out. Any repair costs and replacement fees would be the responsibility of the person who signs the contract.

Q. Do you ship pumps?
A. No. Pumps can either only be rented and delivered on-site or delivered to your home in the Staten Island, Brooklyn and New Jersey areas for $10. (A $10 pickup fee also applies if desired).

Q. Why do you need my SS# AND my Driver’s License Number?
A
. Because all the rentals are expensive and valuable products under medela ownership, medela requests thorough proof of identification to ensure that our Rental Station obtains the necessary information to retrieve any lost items if the situation occurred.

Q. What happens to my deposit when I return the pump?
A. If a copy of your credit card was made on a triplicate receipt, the entire receipt will be destroyed. Otherwise, you will receive a full refund on your original form of deposit.

Q. What if I want to continue renting the pump/scale longer than my contracted time?
A. You must notify us via email at info@tentoes.org or call us at 718-ten-toes (836-8637), and we can process your requested renewal. There is no need to come in person to renew your rental.
