Are you the new parent, babysitter, grandparent, friend or sibling of a young child or infant?  Have you ever worried that you might not know how to respond if that child is ever in danger?  CPR is a great start to providing the best first line defense in an emergency.  Essentially, being trained in CPR is a must for anyone in contact with children. 

This class will teach you how to identify an emergency, respond to it, perform rescue breathing, perform CPR, how to help a choking child/infant, and when to notify Emergency Medical Services.

To receive a Red Cross certificate, you must successfully pass the course.  If you do not intend to obtain a certificate and just want to attend and participate in the course for your own knowledge, you may also do so.  There is a separate class each for Infant CPR and Child CPR.   The course fee includes skills cards and certificate cards.

Light refreshments will be served during the class.
