What To Do Your First 24 Hours Alone- A Baby Care Class

Are you a first time parent who is nervous about the idea of bringing the baby home without any nurse or instruction manual at your bedside?  Or how about your mom who was with you the first two weeks and now you’re on your own?  Well, this class is for you.  You’re not given an owner’s manual when you’re discharged from the hospital, but this class is close to it.  Whether you’re a first time mom or a fifth time mom just wanting a refresher on the basics, this class can be taken alone or with your partner and goes over the necessary basics every parent should know.  It dispels a lot of the fears and gives you  the knowledge and confidence on how to take care of your baby at least for the first 24 hours...even if you are alone.

Some Topics Include:

  1.       diaper changing

  2.       swaddling

  3.       umbilical cord care

  4.       circumcision care

  5.       giving a bath

  6.       taking a temperature...rectally

  7.       and lots more!  Models will be used to practice with!

Price: $50 per couple (no price difference if only one parent comes)
